Why A Daughter Needs A Dad Monday #1

What Now?

My wife gave me a book a few weeks back titled "Why A Daughter Needs A Dad, 100 Reasons" written by Gregory E. Lang and photographs by Janet Lankford-Moran. It is a fantastic book with 100 short reasons why Dads are so important to their daughters. I thought it would be a great way to start each week on my blog with one of these reasons. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did.

Why A Daughter Needs A Dad #1:

To learn that when he says it will be okay soon, it will.

Peace out dads.

  1. Dads are so important to daughters. I know because I didn't have mine full time after age 12 and it did make a difference in my life. There was and unfortunately still is an emotional distance. I wish someone would have handed this book to my dad when he was making some of the decisions in his life.

Nice way to start the week.

  5. i was at the bookstore, just skimming through books when i saw this one. I took it off the shelf, and i just let it fall open. The first thing I read was:
"Fathers are there to comfort their daughters when they cry".
I felt like crying. My dad seems to have trouble grasping this fact. And it sure as heck don't make me feel any better. 14 year old girl, crying silently in a bookstore. pathetic.
